A square footage or paint calculator on this site needs exactly one thing from you: a length, a width, or a price. Here is where that number goes, what a plain visit logs, and how the contact form and ads are handled.
Type a room dimension or a price into any calculator here and the arithmetic runs in JavaScript, right in your browser tab. Nothing is submitted to a server, saved to an account, or written anywhere we could read later. Close the tab and the number is gone; nobody on our side ever saw it in the first place.
Loading any page here creates the same basic record every website does, which page, a rough location guessed from your IP address, your browser and device, and where you came from. That log never connects to a calculator input, and we use it only to notice when a page is slow, broken, or nobody is finding it.
This site runs Google Analytics and Google AdSense, both of which set cookies. Analytics rolls visits into aggregate counts so we can see that the flooring calculator got more traffic this month without knowing who ran it. AdSense cookies can carry browsing history from other sites into the ads shown here; the banner lets you reject that, and Google's own ad settings let you turn off personalization everywhere. Rejecting cookies changes nothing about how a calculator works, since none of them check a cookie before returning a result.
Messages through the contact form go through Web3Forms, a third-party form processor. What you send, usually a flagged coverage rate or a broken page, is used to reply to you and check the figure, and nothing more. We do not build a mailing list from it.
A guide or calculator page sometimes links to a retailer, a supplier, or a contractor-quote service, and some of those are affiliate links, Amazon Associates among them; buying through one can earn a commission at no cost to you. Once you click through, that destination's own privacy rules apply. Ads come from Google AdSense; Google's advertising policy explains how it handles data across every site running its ads, not just this one.
This is a planning tool for adults working on a home project, not a service aimed at kids, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If the data picture here changes, a different analytics tool, a new ad network, this page and its date update with it. There is no separate email notice, since the only address we hold is one you typed into the contact form yourself.
